Civil Litigation Includes
Breach of Contract / Tortious Interference with Contract– Occurs when a written or oral agreement between two parties does not occur because one party fails to uphold their side of the agreement. Tortious interference with contract refers to a situation where a third-party intentionally causes a contracting party to commit a breach of contract or interferes with contractual relations.
Breach of Fiduciary Duty – When an individual, having been entrusted to act on behalf of another, fails to adequately represent their best interest. This includes officers, directors, partners, shareholders and others who have a fiduciary duty to others who have a vested interest in the entity.
Business Torts– Defamation, libel, slander, wrongful or reckless acts, including fraud and interference with business activities – committed against a business.
Shareholder or partnership disputes – Can arise for a number of reasons, including alleged breach of fiduciary duties, disagreements between majority and minority shareholders or between partners, or violations of operating guidelines. We prosecute or defend direct and derivative actions.
Real Estate Litigation – Legal disputes regarding real property, including adverse possession, partition, or fraudulent conveyance. We prosecute or defend commercial and residential real property cases.
